   He was from Champa, the old port of Vietnam in search for the source of gold business in Islas Filipinasduring the time of Spanish Audencia government in the Philippines. The traditional mining of metals including gold was in Toledo Cebu. From Mindoro he crossed the sea of Boracay of Antique Panay Island and he settled as a businessman in Antique near CapizHe was registered in the Catholic Church as a filipinized filipino citizen. The priest gave him the family name of Ursos. In his travel to Cebu he met a cebuana and he married her
